nano cube gone crazy

    i have this Nano 28 Gallon Nano Cube HQI Aquarium | Nano Cube Aquariums - NanoCube.org its been cycling for 5 weeks now all params are good except calcium which im currently raising now, i can only leave the light on for 6 hours a day and it has a HUGE brown algae outbreak i'll link some pics of it maybe someone can help me get rid of it,or should i leave it alone? btw im adding a cleanup crew today

    Diatoms - turn your lights off. There is no need for them to be on during the cycle.

    yup diatoms. it will go away. just give it time. its from all the new plastics in the tank.
    maybe a couple weeks and it will be gone.
