    aww man Steve beat me..

    oh well anyways this is my submission to the video contest
    i did a DIY auto top off system
    I'm sure i over engineered it but it came out good
    I'm a little shy but here it is
    sorry if its long (it was 15 mins. before i edited it)

    ps. this was our first time trying to bend acrylic so bare with us

    Lol, Nice Video Bud. I have a ton of acrylic, and been intrested in doing an auto top off.

    Ive heard that the float switch burns out because of the amount of power used by the pump?

    i don't know why it would burn out?
    the float uses a reed switch and a magnet

    what would have made this real interesting would be if you had plugged the extension cord in before cutting on it.
