We are looking for a photo from your tank - heavily altered - that's right - we want to see ALTERED photos for a change. Something cool! Do you have the skills? Let's see them. Take a photo, have fun changing it up - then stamp "Thinkin' EcoPico" on it and post on the official submission thread later this week. You might win a tricked-out Ecoxotic EcoPico with more LED strips courtesy of 3reef Sponsor Ecoxotic!

    DO NOT POST YOUR ENTRY ON THIS THREAD - THIS IS THE ANNOUNCEMENT / DISCUSSION THREAD. A SUBMISSION THREAD WILL BE POSTED TOWARD THE END OF THE WEEK.

    * Tank dimensions: 10” x 10” x 12”
    * Tank volume: 5.1 gallons
    * Light spectrum: 12K White & 460nm Actinic Blue
    * Total watts: 8 watts
    * Pump flowrate: 80 gph/300lph

    Submission rules:

    1) Your contest image entry must be 500x400 pixels in dimension. .JPG, .GIF, .BMP OR .PNG formats accepted

    2) Photo must be of something in your aquarium altered by any photo-manipulation software available.

    3) Your entry must contain the text "Thinkin' EcoPico." on it.

    We will be giving away two EcoPicos, so your odds of winning are a bit better! 8)



    Contest Schedule:


    • March 18th we will start a submission thread and officially begin accepting entries.
    • March 25th - Deadline for entries.
    • March 28th - Voting for favorites will begin. (Voting will be open for 3reef members with over 15 posts and that have been registered for at least 2 weeks)
    • April 1st - Winners will be announced! - No fooling! :)

    The two entries with the most votes will win EcoPicos thanks to Ecoxotic!
    Third place will receive 3reef gear and Red Sea test kits!


    The EcoPico would look great on your desk at work! :)
