Site Slowness - Better now?

Hi all -

Some of you have reported issues with 3reef pages not loading all the way and I have experienced this as well over the last week.



Looking into it a bit, it appears that a couple banners in rotation were not loading causing the banner server to meltdown a bit. I have fixed these now and it appears to have helped. Let me know.


I also have optimized the social share buttons I added as I had redundant javascript pulling from an external site. I have boiled it down to 1 pull that is now local.

Let me know. I think I am on to it now and hoping for the best.

Sorry for this. The good news is that I am developing again (and breaking stuff) so new stuff is in the works.. once this is resolved..

Hmmm... still getting it once in a while.

I am going to look at database connections a bit and possibly increase the threshold.

Using firebug I noticed another banner related issue. Fixed that too.

 

Seems to now be better within the last 30-45 minutes! Before it took forever to load Nice job!

Having a bit of fun figuring this out.

I've noticed a remaining issue with the cloud server. Sent something their way to check out.

 

I removed the social buttons from the forum nav. Their generation appears to mess with the banners causing a conflict. I will hardcode them in later and on the homepage as well.

Much faster now.

 

i havent had issues all day

I only have issues when replying to threads.

 

the page loading icon spins and spins. Takes about 30 seconds to finish loading.

Then whatever page I'm viewing pops back up to the top.

Not a huge issue today.

 

it's been better for me in the last few hours.
