The Your Favorite Aquarium Contest far exceeded expectations. The aquariums highlighted by 3reef members are truly inspirational and breathtaking. As a result, selecting a couple winners here was difficult. After a few passes I decided to go with a couple aquariums that are within reach of the average hobbyist - not the pie in the sky, loads of cash stuff. One aquarium is 65 gallons and the other is 198 gallons.

    Mike Cao's incredible NPS tank

The first winner is m2434 for highlighting Mike Cao's incredible NPS tank and for m2434's great explanation of why he likes this tank which I will quote below.

I couldn't say it better. Nice selection m2434. Visually stunning and unique. I loved reading about it. Mike Cao shows how far you can go with passion and dedication.

    Krzysztof Tryc's NP BioPellet Aquarium

Our 2nd winner is Strickland_673 for highlighting Krzysztof Tryc's NP BioPellet Aquarium. What tipped me over here on this aquarium was the polarity of extremes. Look at the SPS explosion above in the aquarium, now look at the spartan sump:

Incredible and possibly the strongest visual argument for pellets around. Pellets, a skimmer and a auto doser and 10 percent water changes a week. The unseen? This guy's dedication to his aquarium.

    Great selection Strickland_673.

Congratulations to our winners! And a big thanks to all that made this a winning thread for all time. I know I will look at it from time to time. It deserves a 'sticky' somewhere on 3reef.

Big thanks to EC Led Techno, Inc. for the lamps! 8)

Thank you to ReefKeeping Magazine. I hope you don't mind a few hotlinked images in exchange for the traffic to your features. You are great at what you do and inspire many as was apparent in our little contest. Cheers!
