    that is cool! what kind of powerheads are those? they look kind of like Koralia's...

    Thank you. It should be good when things grow and I get more coral. Although I had my old setup for seven years, I've only just started taking it seriously.

    They are a cheap chinese wave maker, only $120 AU, but they have a controller which allows for power and time settings and they alternate. They seem to work ok but I have nothing to compare them to.

    Also keep in mind esspecially with a new tank. It will take the skimmer a bit to break in, as well as the tank needs to cycle. If there is no load there really isn't anything to skim as of yet..

    Although the tank is new, everything was transferred from my old tank and my old skimmer was doing it's job in the new tank. So I will just keep waiting and see what happens. Thanks.
