yellow tang in a 55?

    I saw your thread on trading the tang, not a bad idea if you like the anthias better and macros. Kudos for trying to help out and for finding a new home for the fish.

    I'm not saying I'm right but a had a almost 3" yellow in a 30g for over a year till I moved the rocks around and it got bubble eye or something and died

    A 1 year old yellow tang that's only 3" and in a 30g? Something is obviously wrong. My yellow tang is only 6 months old and it's 6".

    Thank you 2in10, I sorta felt like I should help the tang out a little, and I think the kid needed the $ for a x-mass present, what ever he was getting he had that 10$ already spent because his eyes lit up :greedy: when I gave him the 10
    I'm not a fan of "making things work" I know it can be done and I'm sure some people could do a nice job of it in a 55. I just moved up from a 30g and to have this guy in a 30 would be mean for sure. It likes this tank only because it came from a tank of the same size and had nothing interesting to eat and pick at, but it is a little cramped in there if you ask me.
