    I heard that here, but for the life of me can't remember who said it, but that quote has stuck with me since. I hope it helps others.

    Ehh, you can't let that sway your excitement about the fish. There's lots of folks out there that own tangs and have absolutely no issues. Myself included. Hippo tang here. It's a younger one in my 55. Perfect size for now, but in 6 months I'll be moving her to a 125 so for now there's no problem with swimming area. It just depends on what you're doing in the future as to whether you want a larger fish or not.

    I have a yellow tank with 2 ocellaris clowns in a standard 55 gallon and he is doing great! Even hangs out with the clowns by the anemone! My only complaint is he is a little shy and will hide during the day, but when I break out the mysis shrimp, look out!

    +1 there are lot's of colorful options that are better suited than a tang.
