Yellow Fiji lost its color? (pic)

    it may be darkening up in advance of a skin shed, and the lighter more familiar color may appear again when the skin has been shed off

    or
    its very common for corals to change color in relation to light type and intensity that they are kept under

    often, once the coral becomes accustomed or acclimatised to the new light, coloration may return to how it was previously - it does not always, but it can do

    the main thing is
    does the coral inflate fully and extend polyps as normal?
    if the above is the case, then its nothing to be concerned about IMO

    Also another thing is that PC will often display more of a yellower look to the tank making yellow colors pop imo, others with a different Kelvin scale will give blues and purples more of a profound look, I noticed that when I switched from T-5's that my foxface went from a dark yellow to a paler yellow when I switched to MH as well. I think it might just be the Kelvin scale, Dingo could tell you for sure.
