Being my tank is about an arm-and-a-halfs length deep; I thought I would share.

Honest, after it fell in I literally thought "oh, thats where I left that wrench".

I would go scuba diving and get it,metals in saltwater corrode and many metals are toxic in a saltwater tank.

I agree if you haven't already fished it out do so.

What were using the wrench for around the tank?

haha thats pretty funny..i have left a scraper in there a few times. But if you're like me..my wrenches are usually covered in WD-40..so I'd get it out asap.

Looking back on it now, it was a terrible plan. I just switched salts, and my old salt had a top that you had to smack to close/open with a hammer. I just kept a big wrench nearby.

If you can ever get your hands on a teco salt bucket, grab it. They have a little lever that seals it with an O-ring and you just press it to release. I never have damp salt anymore and I don't have to use my rubber mallot. If something happened to my buckets, I'd buy the salt and pour it out just so i could have that bucket.
