    I don't think you would have much of a problem. I agree the GSP might take over more area than the other corals.

    I'm thinking of making a seperate island for the gsp and could trim it if it gets away from me,but the larger island,i'm picturing just loaded with kenya and anthelia along with a cuc and 2 or 3 mild fish(after i get rid of the devil damsel)and then just let it do it's thing.Not worried about the rock as my intentions are to keep this tank low budget,low maintenance.Heres a pic of it,sorry bout the low quality

    The GSP should stay on the island unless it detaches and lands some where else. Most corals do not expand along the sand.
