I recently was expecting 8 frags to be delivered on Wednesday, but for one reason or another they didn't get here until Thursday even though they were shipped on Tuesday. Now 7 of the 8 are fine but one is deteriorating and is basically dead. So if the seller guarantees overnight shipping with live arrival do you think I should complain? Thanks for your opinions.

Pure and simple yes. Take photos of the condition of the coral in the bag and notify the seller immediately of any issues.

I would get some images of the coral and send them to the vendor explaining situation

its to early to complain IMHO, just explain to them about the delay (probably not their fault) and the status of your coral

how they react to that, will tell you all you need to know about that vendor

and if they react positively, then IMO, they have secured a future customer

I would have called them when they didn't arrive the first day,but yes i would get ahold of them and ask for a new frag or credited back for the frag.

Report it, but be civil about it. The shipper can file a claim with the shipping company to try and recoup losses like this. If it was shipped overnight, it should have been overnight.

unfortuantely with the winter being like it is right now, shipping is a bit more difficult! I was surprised when my aquacave shipment came on Thursday when everything else was closed for snow...........

definately expect that the company will be responsive to you contact them....at least if they are a reputable company. Good luck

Well I asked this question because when the shipment was delayed I emailed them and they apologized and said not to worry it would be there Thursday and if anything was wrong it would be fixed. But since the first couple emails the seller has not responded to my last couple in which I explain the condition of the corals. I am happy with the live ones but I would like a response on what they are going to do. I paid for overnight shipping and got two day and a dead coral, however if they remedy the situation then I will be a future customer. Thanks for all your input.
