As many of you know I was moving well I got everything moved and the last thing the movers took was my tank so no big deal. They brought the stand in I had them put it where its new home will be in primo viewing area everything looks great so far. They bring the tank in and set it on the stand no problems then they gently lift up on the front so the tank can be shimmed and BAM!!! the entire back of the tank cracks and its 5pm on a sunday :-[. So the LFS (thatpetplace) I normally go to just closed and I have to find a diff place to purchase a tank and I end up at petsmart paying $200 for a non-reef ready 75gal tank. Needless to say that was a bad experiance. But only one little loss of life so far my Royal Gramma that was my GF's fish.

All the coral are okay so far they all look a little under the weather as I had to let them set in a tub for 24hrs with a heater and I only have a couple hand fulls of sand in the bottom and my GBTA doesnt look so hot he is only a little inflated but that is to be expected but still attached.

Any one have any ideas what I should expect over the next few weeks i.e. a mini cycle or full cycle. Im sure my fish and coral are stressed to the max?

Sorry that happened to you, but I have a question. Why did you shim the tank and not the stand? It seems to me putting shims under the stand would be less stress on the tank than shims under the tank.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Sorry the move did not go so well.

Being that the rock and sand were cured and seeded you may not see a mini cycle, but you very well may. I would grab some Prime or equiv product and or some Microbacter7 just to have on hand as well as fresh SW already made up. Better to be prepared IMO.

    Good luck

Very Nice thank you I already picked some prime and StressZyme from API just in case and making another 60gal of water.

Should I add more sand I didnt add but a few handfuls out of my old tank? So my tank is pretty much a BB right now.

Personally I would add some new sand if you already seeded using sand from the old set-up. Might as well get everything settled again right off the bat. I would not however use anymore sand from the older system if it's been sitting for any period of time.
