Well I ended up taking my wife to the LFS near me and she now wants a tank of her own. 8) So what i was wondering I have a 75G DT and a 30G sump. Is there any way on splicing her tank pumping into my sump? That sounded a little dirty... LOL. Hers is a 20G DT.

Diagrams would be a asset if anyone has anything similar...?

    Thanks.

just tee off of the return pump for your 75 gal. with a valve to control flow to the 20 gal. and let gravity do the rest... just make sure the sump can handle everything when power is shut off, so to not cause a flood... ;D

I run both my tanks off the same sump. No issues.

I'm running my 40b and my 210 off just a 40b sump. You just need to set the returns in low enough water and cut it off to see what everything drains to. You shouldn't have any problems.

Oh, and you will plumb it just like your main tank. Either T off your return or add another pump to the new tank and have it overflow right to the same place as your tank does.

Are you planning on doing an overflow box and having a return that hangs on vs drilled in? If you have the hang on you can always drill a hole in it so when the water hits that level it breaks the syphon.
