Aquarium Water Pumps & Water Movement: Lifegard Aquatics Quiet One Pumps


i have 6 feet of head and this would be T'd off to go to two returns...member im not looking for alot of water movemnet just enough to keep up with the drains....also the sump is a 20 long

4000HH, or 6000 would work great.

 

i was thinking the 6000, didnt think the 4000 would be enough and the 4000 is only cheaper by 9 bucks so it would be the 6000...if this will work ill order it now

 

Both will work. The "HH" in the 4000 specifies it's geared towards High Head.

 

I answered your PM. I would not give a Quiet One to my worst enemy. I have had two of them literally go up in flames in my system and would try to steer anyone away from them. I mean smoke and fire and flames and water squirting into an outlet strip mounted up out of the way when the plastic melted. BAD NEWS.
Ocean Runner, Octopus or Eheim, nothing else for me as I have had bad luck with most of them including Mag, Via Aqua, Rio Hyperflow, Quiet One and a few others.
