I dosed aiptasia's with limewater to kill them off. So far it seems to work since the aiptasias are gone. Since they were in the middle of a zoa colony will this kill the zoas that were also exposed to the limewater? They closed up and have not opened. They have not began to shriveled up and die but Im concern. will they make a come back?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yes Kalk paste will kill zoanthids if left in place long enough.

pH of kalk is about 12-13, that will burn coral/zoanthids just as it would aiptasia.

I would use a turkey baster to remove the died and dying tissue and just keep on doing so until the dead tissue sloughs off. You might have to dip the entire frag to keep a bacterial infection from setting in.

To apply kalk to zonathids I remove the piece, use a q-tip and apply out of water and let sit for up to 5 minutes out of water and then rinse in display water and return to the tank. Of course this does not work with large colonies.

It will probably make a recovery, it might be a slow one though.
