Well I had a bit of an "issue" in my tank:

    http://www.3reef.com/forums/asap/my-tank-may-crashing-80182.html

As of now the clownfish is in the hospital tank and is doing much better, swimming around and such, and getting some food in his mouth. I am more confident that he will make it through the ordeal.

As for the tank I have decided to upgrade my rock. I have ordered some base rock from Reef Cleaners and also some live Bali Alor from Premium Aquatics.

I have cleaned out the tank and drained the water. Currently the tank is circulating clear tap water while I make RODI for mixing salt.

It does appear so now, the clownfish gave up the ghost last night. I really thought he was going to pull through, but such is not the case ...

    Anyway ...

I have some new live rock and am making good progress on the refugium. Hopefully the next month will see the addition of my first corals.

I have learned a lot over the last year and am looking at making some improvements and continuing to learn from my mistakes while making less of them.

Looks great, but I would try to get it away from the side glass. I started mine that way and regretted it until I fixed it. It's just to hard to clean in there.

Have you thought about painting the back? Your almost to the point it would be a big pain to move the tank out and do it, so I thought I would mention it now.

Hmmm, that is a good point. Thanks ...

I have a blue background that goes on the back, just haven't got it up yet!
