white, sharp bumps on wall,

    little hard white things

    right now mine are to small for me to see anything coming out of the top of the hill/mound opening. I'm hoping they are barnacles, awesome pictures by the way!!

    Matt, they wax and wane, mostly with available food in the tank. They're filter feeders. We've got quite a few right now too, along with the little pineapple sponges.

    I just found one a little bigger and it looks like a smooth pyramid/cone shape type thing, any thoughts??

    I have some. There prolly feather dusters and yes they can have hard outer tubes. I have hundreds of them. I can see the feathers on mine too.
