What should I have my kids do to my tank while I'm gone this weekend?? They aren't real good at making sure stuff gets done. I have my lights on a timer. I do my top-offs manually and I add Ca and part b stuff daily. Should I be worried if it doesn't get done for 2-3 days? My fish will live, I know without feedings, which will be good for the tank too...

wow ok I'm just worried about something going wrong and having to start over. since I haven't been on the road in a few months, I've been tending to my tank more than I ever have and it's better than it's ever been, just want to keep it that way!

If your only worried about the top off, then just fill your sump or whatever you have to the max. level that you can. When I go out of town, I fill up my sump to a level that I know if the power goes out, the sump will not over flow.
