    Which salt do you use? any pro and cons? Can we actually mix salt from 2 different brands?

    I use instant ocean, cant think of any cons. I really like it.

    Reef Crystals. Seems to dissolve easy enough. Not much residue. Has high Ca, Mg, and Alk numbers at 1.026 salinity.

    AFAIK, they've been in the business the longest... and it works.

    As for mixing salt brands, there should be no problem.

    Red Sea coral pro,has high levels of alk,calcium,and mag.It seems to increase coralline algae growth,and my lfs carries it.

    Tropic Marin Pro Reef, I haven't had a problem and have never had to dose supplements into the mix to raise them.

    I use aquavitro salinity really no cons to think of had a ton of cal and mag keeps my ph at 8.2

    I have always used Reef Crystals in the past, never ran into any issues, good levels.

    I have use both Red Sea coral
    Pro salt and aquavitro salinity and I like both. Reef crystals also were decent for me as well.
