Where to put my ato float and return line?

    I do have baffles so i guess I will have to play around with it. I will definitely look at aquahub.com and see what they have. I saw some on autotopoff.com and they were very cheap too.

    What kind of substrate are you using in the sump? I am thinking about using live sand and live rock but have also been considering mud. My last tank was over 20 yrs ago and I can't believe how much things have changed since then.

    I use Caribbsea Special Grade Reef. IMO mud is a waste of time because you after take some out and add new to 'boost' it. IMO the best way to run a sump is clean, equipment in there only. That way there's nothing to trap junk. I used to do it that way until I transformed my remote fuge to a display fuge and the light cycle changed.
