When to Start Phosphate Reactor?

    Getting ready to start my reef tank up whenever my rock gets here from reefcleaners. I was wondering when do I need to start up the phosphate reactor? Do you start them when you put water in the tank or do you wait a while?

    i would run it from the get go. replace the media when the p04 levels start to rise.

    i would test your water and judge to see what is needed to buy
    But i dont see how a phosphate reactor could be bad running maybe 10 days after set up
