so I upgraded my 45 cube to 120 gallon. I transferred all my water/fish/coral/cuc, and was wondering how long I should wait to add more fish to the 120, also am I able to add 2 at the same time now since it is much larger?

I would wait at least a month or more.

Even when using established substrate - adding more will inevitably create "mini cycles".

your best best is to let the new inhabitants settle in (even your new bacterial population needs some time too) before adding anything new.

As for the 2 at a time - it would depend on what fish they are.

If it's a pair of clowns - then of course you can ad them at the same time.

But there are certain species of which housing more than one of is not a good idea.

So it would depend on what you are looking to add - but in general - if you can add only 1 at a time - it's probably better for your system.

And BTW - we need some PICS of this new setup!!!

ok heres some pics I know you saw some of them from the lights but I went from this setup which was dual 45 gal cubes side by side sort of a his/hers tanks

    to a 120 gal 4x2x2

upgraded my lights to the dual 135mu boost led fixtures

added a new 39 gallon custom black acrylic sump with live rock,a new ASM G2 skimmer which seems to be a beast rated for 200 gal, and a mag 9.5 for return, drilled in the back with dual 2 inch drains, and ofcourse the mp 40 which I seem to need another for double flow

spent a ton of money but well worth it imo :)

    WOW!

    Your setups BOTH look awesome!

    Really nicely conceived and designed!

Never saw two cubes side-by-side like that before! Were they connected by a common sump? Or judging by the HOB equipment looks like you were running sump-less . . . . either way nice job!

had no sump on that setup and we put them side by side like that b/c the 48" dual halide fixture seemd to fit perfectly over top of the 2 tanks, plus we could switch the colors up I had the left which was 20k and hers was the right 14k, and our computers were on each side as well, made for a helluva view needless to say i didnt get much work done on the computer. But I liked the size so well after about a year of those we switched to the 120 so we could have it all in 1
