When do you add clean up crew?

    Hi Everyone,

    I have reached the point that,

    Ammonia = 0 ppm
    Nitrite = 0 ppm
    Nitrate = 80 ppm

    I am battling nitrates at the moment with water changes, I am also starting to battle diatoms and algae.

    When is a good point for me to add a clean up crew? I was assuming once I can control my nitrates but perhaps I am being over cautious.

    i added my first hermits at that point, and everyone else a couple of weeks later. Besides the normal shipping related die off (couple of snails and a limpet) everyone is doing great a week later
