My biggest problem is coral coloration, some corals I have, have great color, others have lost some of the color. I'll get it down one day.

My biggest problem is not enough money for corals and running out of space for corals. Them growing is both a pleasure and a problem.

coralline aglae and flow. I have a hard time keeping the flow gentle for some LPS and robust for my SPS in the upper levels. I have it good right now, but any little move of the rock or powerheads and it's all off again. Any little change takes a good day b4 it really settles in... takes forever to get perfect.

I second that. Purchased an RO/DI kit a month ago though, and I've stepped up my water changes to 20% bi-weekly.

Money to do what I want, and lack of space in the house for a larger tank because my 55 is pretty stocked with corals right now.

As for my biggest problem? Algae/money... I've had nasty algae forever mainly because i couldn't afford to do anything about it. Thankfully just finally got a couple more pumps and finally started getting a few snails and the tank is definitely looking better. Money is definitely my biggest problem though :(

me too.. I have too much flow @ 60x tank volume.. I found a little trick for lower current dependent corals by powerheads, I put a "blocker" or large piece of LR in between powerhead and next to coral that needs blocking.. it slows down the current right behind the rock so coral has a little shield.

;D as you can see in the picture below, it looks like a whirlpool.

huh, i never had trouble with mine... i killed em all off during my last move though. Used to have a freaking ton of them but haven't seen a single one since. Was odd though too, my tanks was up and running for probably close to a year before i saw them and i hadn't added anything since the initial build. So i suppose they could come back...
