    my biggest problem in my reef tank is that im 1000 miles away and my parents and brothers are taking care of it. lol they didnt know aiptasia are bad until last week(tanks been running for 3 months) and now they are on conquest to purge them lol. Other then that what is your guys biggest problems...that u cant quite eliminate

    setup a wireless web camera aimed at tank, that way you can see whats going on.. you can probly do that for $100+ bucks..

    haha I did this last week when I went home for spring break. It was awesome being able to check on my tank whenever I want.

    I'm in the same boat as you though. I work every other semester out of town so my tank is in the hands of my roommate.

    and install a loud speaker in the corner of the room, so you can bark orders at family members. Lol .. well you could install a autofeeder, automatic topoff, and auto kalkwasser doser.. should get you by.. but like the web cam with loud speaker idea better..
