    Been in the hobby for 2 month now.

    So far:

    1) Filled the tank with water BEFORE aquascaping.
    2) Did not paint/cover the back of the tank before filling with water and rocks.
    3) Took LFS advice when they said that 2-stripe damsel should not be aggressive and if worst comes to worst, they are easy to catch.

    Forgeting to place my ATO feed back in the sump after working down there.... three times.

    Very wet floors.

    I can type it again

    I got some Kalkwasser Pure - Warner Marin product
    in order to make a paste to deal with some remaining GSP

    I knew it needed to be thick
    so I put a couple of teaspoons of powder into a plastic tub
    and then proceeded to start adding a little bit of water

    Im holding the tub mixing the water with the powder and get a paste
    and the tub starts getting very warm
    then it start becoming very hot
    at the same time the what was once a paste is becoming a solid

    then this solid starts cracking and popping up, with little bits flying off

    so I rush to the sliding glass doors to my balcony, open them up
    and throw the container and the exploding powder outside

    never made Kalk paste since

    well i am still a noob but i was trying to fill my tank from the sump and i turned on my return pump and my take was not filling i look up and i had a water fountin coming up the back of my tank, i forgot to glue the pipe. lol thank god it was fw and not sw :)

    I also bought a butterfly fish and zoanthids in one trip!.....needless to say...i do not shop at THAT store anymore...lol
