    Yes, it's actually not about Latin, but word roots.


    Like I JUST asked hubby a pronunciation and his answer was based on the fact it has a Spanish derivative and Spanish is based on Latin.... or something like that. Ya, I have to live with that all the time. I never just get the answer, but the reason behind it. He never EVER called anything by it's common name. Not to me at home.... not even when he talks in his sleep.

    I'm a nurse. There are abbreviations for EVERYTHING in my world.
