    Sorry for the terrible pic but my camera is terrible so it's the best I got. Can anyone tell me what type of macro this is in my fuge?

    Looks to me like some sort of Caulerpa if what I am seeing correct. Let me photoshop it to see if I can get the focus somewhat sharper.

    Here ya go, yeah I think you have grape caulerpa, have it all over my tank. In my opinion, unless you can keep it very cut back, don't expose it to sunlight 24/7 you may be able to get away with it, otherwise rip that crap out.

    So don't run the lights on it 24/7? It doesn't look like it's going sexual does it?

    They can. Caulerpa is a very invasive macro, has wiped out reefs all along California, that's why they say to properly kill of any algae before you put it into the water...because of this genus.

    does anyone know what the caulerpa displaces? Native caulerpa?
