So im cycling my tank, I put two mollies in there, the corals in the tank seem to be doing so well. They are opening up every day and feeding at night. But this morning the other mollie in the tank (yesterday one disappeared) I found them both in the overflow. So should I just pull them out or leave them in there to help cycle the tank?

Well first off never cycle with fish also. Mollies are fresh water correct? You should not have corals while cycling. Can u tell me more so I can help how long have you had water in your tank?

well I bought the tank used and it came with the rock which had corals so on that part I didn't have a choice, I put some of then nicer ones in my tank but I didnt have room for all of them. And these were salt water mollies from my LFS maybe converted idk but they were in the salt water tank when I bought them. So I used live sand and LR and a lot of the water that was originally in the tank, I basically just moved the tank, but I did add a considerable amount of newly mixed SW so.. anyways I just thought I would add some fish to see how it goes. And the tank was up and running thursday. The first two days ammonia nitrate and nitrites tested zero, forgot to test yesterday and I will test today here in a bit after lunch :) so thatttt is the story haha

Are the mollies dead?If so,yes I would remove them so you don't a bigger bio load that causes stress on your corals. If they're alive I would let them be(after taking out of the overflow of coarse).

Ok let me clear it up u buy tank move stuff around put two fish inn and one of the 2 fish die? If that is what happend yes it could of been a ammonia or nitrate or nitrite spike but also could be temp or many other factors. What do you test?

Last night one died and this morning the other died so they are both dead in the overflow :/ the temp is fine, its bee at 78-79 for four days now. I have jsut been testing for ammonia nitrate and niritrite sunday I did phosphates which were also zero.

If they are dead remove them that is to much ammonia.
