what to do with a 20??

what would you guys do with a 20?
i have a 60 gallon reef tank with 15 gallon sump and a 10 gallon fuge.
so i dont really want a reef tank.
so what would you guys do with an empty 20 gallon fish tank

i thought about it but i heard mantis are pretty hard to keep.
i also thought about a small snowflake eel but get to big for a 20 gallon tank.

 

Keep it around as a QT. Spend the money it would take to do something with it on coral for your reef.

yea i might do that but i also have a 5 gallon tank that was supposed to be the QT
then what should i do with a 5 gallon?

 

Perfect! 10 gallon QT with a 5 gallon sump to run carbon in. Put a little bit of rock in the sump for filtration, and turn the sump off any time you run copper. Get it set up with a damsel in the sump. This will keep some bio filtration active, but keep the actual QT empty for new fish or sick fish to be in. Would be the ultimate QT.

so for the overflow so i buy one or make one out of pvc.
i have made one out of pvc and worked real well but look ugly

 

From what I have read and seen mantis are not hard to care for at all, and you have the perfect tank size for one. They only eat about once or twice a week just make sure the params are good.
