What Sponge is this?

    Picked this up at the LFS today. They weren't sure what it was, but silly me I bought it anyway. Possibly a Pavona Cactus?

    Well I take that back, it doesn't appear to have a stony base, and its rather rubbery, maybe a leather of some type?

    if its spongy it may be a sponge, im serious. idk any leathers that are that purple.

    Definitely a possibility. Elephant Ear Sponge maybe?

    Found this, but I seriously doubt thats is its real name.

    Maybe Ianthella Basta or Lanthella Basta or Collospongia Auris?
