I've got a Typhoon III RODI on the way from Fire, Water and Ice, and one of their ATO float valves.

I was wondering what size hole to drill for the bulkhead - and also, where in relation to the waterline?

I'll have these answers in a couple days when the stuff arrives; just trying to get a jump on things.;D

    DOH!!

Yeah, I knew that ... too early in the morning, only about two sips of coffee.

I won't edit my original post; it'll give folks something to chuckle at ... :)

Just drill the hole a little larger then the shank of the float valve. Most Float valvaes I have ever seen for aquarium use was about 5/16 to 3/8th diameter hole .Or you could drill for a 1" bulkhead and just use bushings for the float valve ?
