ok my tank is done cycling trites at 0 ammonia at 0 and trates setting at 20ppm (bought new skimmer hopfully will start to lowering Changed feeding to everyother day and have a fuge)

now my 55 main display is covered in that powdery brown algea or diatoms, have damsels in it right now (i tried to get the least aggressive ones so i can get my gobies and royal gamma clown fish blennys of some sort and ik i deff want mandarian goby) my final fish list isnt set tho i want to fisrt get a good clean up crew going.

i want something hardy and effective, problem is im confined to the LFS i have cause shipping them to me is out of the question my schedule is soo werid and i live in FL and dont want the temp from them setting on my door step to kill them.

so my question is what should i look for at my LFS and or ask them to bring in for me.

I know you mentioned you don't want to have them shipped, but I would recommend talking to John from Reefcleaners.org. They have awesome prices and I am sure he can work with you to make sure the delivery is at a time convenient for you. He is based in Florida, so I believe shipping is free, provided you buy more than $25 ( I think that is the amount).

He is highly recommended among a ton of people on 3reef and I have had an awesome experience with the critters he has sent me. He will also build a custom crew for your specific tank.

If you can't work something out with him, then I recommend Nerites, Nassarius, and Ceriths. Turbos are good too, but will knock over anything that is not glued down.

+1 on everything including the particular snails. You may also want to add a couple cleaner shrimp :)

Cleaner Shrimp clean fish not fish tanks.;)(Although they will pick up some stray food) What kind of Damsels are they? If added first even the most docile of Damsels will probably harass and maybe kill newcomers. It may be necessary to return them.:( I agree on the selection of snails and while I have never had a problem with turbo's knocking anything over it is possible.I would only do 1 in such a small tank as they are voracious and will quickly strip the tank of anything they consider edible.;)

Edit:After seeing your tank and its occupants I would advise you not to put any more fish in the tank unless you can remove some/all of the Damsels.
