what should i have in my fuge?

So what else should be in my fuge. Right now i a cheato and 2" of sand. It seems empty maybe i am missing someting.

Also, the flow is very slow in my fuge and the top of the sand kind of looks dirty is that a normal thing?

 

liverock,mangroves,add a bag of reef pods,clean up crew.Some make display fuges with a bunch of different macro algea,so pretty much,whatever you want.there is alot of options

 

here is my fuge... i have sps, lps, softies, macros, fish, snails and other inverts in there, and mangroves, and tons upon tons of little detrus eating organisms

A mandarin goby would be awesome in that tank. Nice fuge!
