I have a salty fluval edge, i've had it for idk 2 years now? My mother works at hagen so i get stuff right at release/alittle before and honestly its a GREAT TANK but if i had to do it over again, i wouldnt have gone salty on it. Unless your building a custom led fixture to fit right under the hood, or buy the nanocustoms fluval fixture, its alot of hassle. I tried the mr-11's and got crappy growth and all my zoas went brown, then i modded the hood to stuff two 50/50 bulbs in there and THEN i added another suplimental pc over the glass but i hated the look and finally i just bought a nanocustoms par38 bulb and i'm hanging that over the tank as i've seen many people do the same because its honestly the easiest way to light it without spending alot or going DIY.

    Just my 2 cents.

ps. check out the numerous fluval edge posts on nanoreef if you need ideas on lighting it alot of people have done alot of different things with it.

Yeah, I'd go with a PAR30 from boost, just a nicer color. One "robot led" bulb ain't gonna cut it for SPS. Filtration wise it is like a biocube, small chamber in the back. You could probably get away with some Chaeto in there and some carbon. You could even do some other chemical media or mangrove shoots. Flow wise I would get a tiny PicoEvo or something, or split the locline return. But besides that, you should be good. Check that vid, he has SPS under the PAR30. Ask Matt Rogers, he owns one.

    Well...
    Dymax from Big Als 69.99
    Product Details
    BoostLED PAR30 69.99
    Pico Evo 200 14.00
So you would have a little less than 100 bucks for coral.
