I use salinity!! Form aquavetro! I was a hard strung IO guy but the Lfs said to try it and I did I am in love it works out to be cheaper and less doesing. If you use any other salt I say try it but the small bucket and if u don't like it go back to wasting money and doesing you brain out. :)

Did some research and concluded that most reefers used Instant Ocean/Reef crystals with solid/stable success.

I also use IO and dose for reefs. For fish only, IO is great as is.

i bought 4-175 gallon buckets of red sea coral pro thinking why not its new n sounds great well the "new" elevated levels are mediocre, i constantly dose MAg because it def doesnt test out to what it says...not that i have had bad results i actually have nothing too bad to say about it but it defenitly isnt anything dramaticly different than any other reef salt i have used.....Im thinking about using the tropic marin and just seeing if the extra money reallly is worth it or not....also was thinking about the aquavitro brand salt as well...im not sure where i will be heading next but im prettty convinced that they allll prettty much doo the same what reallly mattters is if your parmeters r steady n nitrates n phopsphates r low ur coral will grow
