    usually between 1.024-26, except for when i'm running the fan to cool the water and I have evaporation, then it is around 1.028 but I get it back down again gradually with no ill effect.

    For Reef Tanks, 1.026 SG to match the 35 ppm of Natural Seawater.

    Great responses.. Thank you . I think I'll maintain a 1.023 in my breeder tanks and 1.026 in my coral propogation tanks.

    I would agree with that too Monacle. Fish may fair better at lower SG and inverts to fair better an normal NSW SG. Most of this revolves around osmoregualtion.

    Is that pic just a ref. guide or are you cheating on us and running your tank at 1.0245 = 33 PSU :D
