Well now that i'm pretty confident on installing an RO unit, now the real question. Which one to buy? I've been surfing the net the past few days looking at all different makes and all the different prices on them. I'm looking for a unit that can filter between 40 and 60 gallons in a day. So any advice would be awesome?

Check out the sponsors page I know a few of them have RO units, air, water, ice for one has lots of different ones.

I got mine from bulkreefsupply.org and have been real happy with it.

I was recommended one from TBAquatics....I haven't got it yet, so I can't give you any more info than that! But it was cheap, which was nice...

AzDesertRat has always made a very convincing case for the spectra pure brand as a very efficient and cost effective unit. They are also 3reef sponsors and I believe patrick posted the link above to their current promo

    SPECTRAPURE!!!!!!

I recently bought a 90 gal per day from SpectraPure. The unit works great. The company is awesome. I had a breakage during shipment. Their response was immediate, decisive and awesome. A very good product, awesome customer service. Great value.

You will not go wrong with SpectraPure.

PS -- So was that a strong enough endorsement???

Yeah I'm definitely leaning towards SpectraPure now, I have checked their link out and planning on ordering very soon.

Spectrapure by far. 25 years in the industry and still going strong, they must be doing something right! I have owned 3 of theirs now after owning several other brands and there really is no comparison. The MaxCap and MaxCap UHE are the most unique filters on the market and no one offers anything even close, especially at the $100 off price they have right now.
