I am looking into purchasing a reactor to run with some biopellets. I am wondering what everyone would recommend for both a type of reactor and type of pellets. Thanks.

I would highly suggest running Ecobak from Warner Marine, and I have a friend who just got a reef octopus reactor. It has the best tumbling action I have ever seen.

i have been happy with the Nextreef SMR1 reactor and ecobak. it took a while but my nitrates have come down even though i have increased the amount of food at each feeding.

I'm running the ecobak in a aquamaxx bio pellet reactor. don't try and tweak a reactor thats not meant for pellets or not meant for the amount you want to run. i did that wasted money on it. always a clumping issue. since this reactor all has been running great. it gives a nice spinning of the pellets without any clumping issues at all.

I'm going to get a dual BRS system around tax return time lol. Seems like the best bang for the buck to me.

I think I remember matt having a thread on this. I couldn't find it though. I think I may go with the aquamaxx reactor.
