    My pump just burned up!

It was a little giant 3000 RPM?

What brand / size pump would you get?

I have 2 built in overflows. I have no idea what the flow rate is for them
They are approx 6"X6" in the corners.

    Thanks

Yes, but how much money does it 'burn' and 'push' out of your wallet is what i want to know ;D

How much head loss does the return pump have to contend with? I don't think you generally need to push more than 5x to 10x max of the display tank volume through the sump every hour so I would personally look for a pump that can do about 1300-1500gph after the head loss. I've always gotten my pumps from bulkreefsupply or premiumaquatics, or an LFS.

I'm going to agree with the Dart. I have had one for 6 months. Silent, low wattage and doen't add much heat. Doesn't contend well with high head pressures but if that's not a problem will push volumes of water. You can dial it to your needs with a gate valve.- Paul

A lot less than the two noisy pumps I had before and burns half the electricity. I paid $280 for mine.... less than the several pumps I could have to do the same job.

I have one pump running almost everything and it could run more If I want it too.

Do you have something running it for now? I have a 1000gph pump that I don't use because it's too noisy. I could bring it over for you to use until you can get a new pump if you need.
