The one for my Reef hangs on the wall under the tank using the supplied bracket. The one on my sea horse tank hangs on the back of the tank. I had to modify the bracket a little to get it to hang on the back of the tank. I took me about 10 minutes and about 3 bucks in materials.

The best part is I guarantee they wont leak, they are made using RO filter components and John Guest style fittings which are now being used for plumbing in houses. I have had one of mine for over a year now and not a drop. Also if you need to extend the hoses you can get the hose and fittings at any building supply store.

only problem is, theres no room next to the tank as my puffers tank is next to it, and the other side of the tank is next to a wall. and there wouldn't be a way that i could put a sump in the puffers stand either, i just wish i knew about sumps when i bought my tank cause then i would have bought a different stand. oh well, i guess you live and you learn.

I do have a shelf right above my tank I have my light extended from there and it holds it over the tank. How are you able to tell how much weight the shelf is able to hold and how would you be able to secure the tank? Lol during an earthquake or when a train goes by I wouldn't want the tank moving around up there and falling on my DT. But this could be a possibility

so i talked to my parents about putting a sump on the shelf and asked if the shelf could hold 90lbs and they said that both the wall and the shelf cannot support that kind of weight. So that option is out
