    hello i was just about to sit down for dinner and the better half calls me along and asks what this thing is. i have taken some photos of it and im pretty much sure its a hitchiker on some live rock i had bought. its white, moves around slowly and has tree like things coming out of it.

    thats a nudibranch , if youve got corals, it should be removed. cool lookin fellas but the majority are not reef friendly

    Yep

    That one will eat you your SPS up if you have any, not to mention some LPS and Zoa's, but those wil be last on his list :(

    If i was on my other comp i have a link that covers that nudi completly and it does eat leathers i would remove it.. but heres a link that has a pic...

    There's some good info on the species on this page, including information on its diet. It apparently feeds on leathers (Lobophyton species).
