Lol, I have heard this before, but at the same time I haven't really anything definitive as to if they split when they are mad or happy.

Lol, So which corals are your favorites for various reasons? Or would you need to write a book about this one. ;D

haha,as a disclaimer,i'm in no way telling anyone to raise thier mag and screw up thier params to purposely make a coral of any type split,it was just an observation i noticed when i did it,in time and good water they'll split just fine, allthough it seems some can take forever.I've also heard target feeding can help as well, but i've never fed mine

I don't really car if they split or not but I just noticed that they havent. It has been almost a year since I got them.

I think that I have two different kinds in my tank. My green ones will eat and my red ones don't eat in the same manner at least. I can tell the green ones are eating because they enclose around their food.

Yeah, I would definitely need to write a book. lol <j/k>

Seriously, I like variety more than any one species. (Honestly though, I'm not alone- I've yet to see a single-species tank. :))

If I had the space for a 300g+ tank plus the life support system required for so many species, I'd have a mixed reef with a very large variety from all types.
