What is this Karma stuff all about and how do I send ppl Karma?

Can some one let a poor newbie know how this works?

 

To add click the scales on the bottom left of the post. Give Karma to good and helpful post!

 

Karma is something you would get for a good post such as good info to someone.

You can give it by clicking on the little weight below your Avatar below the camara icon, and to the right of the green icon allowing you know to know who is online.

 

Thanks now I added to both of your Karma -- you each now have mad street cred

 

It is also a weighted scale. Meaning....

Two people give you Karma for a post. One with Karma of 250, the other with 150000, the amount of Karma you receive from the person with higher Karma will be much more than the other. Basically, it is trusting that if someone with high Karma gives you some, it is well deserved, therefore gives you more.

I don't see why not this karma stuff seems to be relatively inexpensive
