what is it doing

    about a week ago i got a tuxedo urchin. i dont think i acclamated it long enuf(all the hairs fell out). i saw my scarlet hermit crab lifting it up on its side. any ideas what it was doing? i am pretty sure its still alive. do they have a symbiotic relationship, can it tell its stressed and wants to eat it, .........

    If the spines fell out it is dead and the hermit was cleaning up.

    Yes, hermit can sense or smell it's dying. :-/

    so there is prob no hope huh. and the lights turned off a little while ago i havnt seen it move:cry:

    I did that with my first urchin, too. Acclimate it carefully and for a long time.
