Not that answer you want to hear, but I'd remove the Hippo tang, then call it full.

If you are going to upgrade soon, just wait. A 55 is small for any tang really, so having two in there probably isn't the best idea. I know they are small, but just wait! Your upgrade will be here before you know it!!

Plus, tangs are very messy, so two in a 55 is a lot of waste!

Just get a small fish if you really want one. Just because they are small doesn't mean they aren't fun or pretty!

Most of them "may" nip corals. Dwarf angels are genreally safer than large angels.

From my experience with my flame angel, he nips corals when he is not fed a lot. I feed him 2-3 times a day and he never touches a coral (except one he keeps picking, but that one has algae on it and my tangs pick at it also). When I didn't feed him because I was in the middle of a tank exchange, he was picking at almost every coral that he passed by.

there are a few dwarf angels that are considered pretty much "reef safe." Those are the flame, coral beauty and cherub. The most reef safe dwarf (according to A LOT of reading I've done) is the African Flameback, which stays nice and small for a 55 tank. And the key is keeping them well fed. Two-three times a day feedings (small amounts each time).
