What Does A Tang Tail Slap Feel Like?

So I know they have a little barb on their tails to inflict damage on other fish but what about a human being? Has anyone ever been the victim of a tail slap? What did it feel like?

 

Ever gone fishing for bluegills and got a handful of dorsal fin when taking the hook out? I imagine it would feel a lot like that. I've never been tail slapped, but the barb looks very much like a spike coming off the dorsal fin of a bluegill.

 

Like a knife cutting you per say... Pretty fun to experience actually. Achilles tang won that battle. I cant seem to find the picture of my hand bleeding... lol
