    I need to find something else...RE: !@#!@#

    Never see mine eat...[IMG]

Does look fat and happy when I do get a glimpse of it.

Does not come out at normal feeding times, even when using squid/shrimp/clam/crab/oyster food mix.

Would rather see it eating something other then fellow tank inhabitants.

Besides shrimp, a couple neon gobies and a Rainford goby have suspiciously disappeared...[IMG]

Have you tried feeding it with tongs?

I fed mine quite easily with Freeze Dried Krill, The larger ones. I soaked them in Water for 10 minutes then either hand fed or used the Tongs, depending on his mood.

He also loved frozen Clam. I would do it the same as above.

He absolutly loved crabs of any kind. Never bothered any of the fish., even the small ones. I guess I kept him full enough.

Start with the tongs, then slowly move to the hand feeding. When I first started he was a baby so I had him going from the beginning.

He didnt care for the silversides at all.

--> Oh yeh, he would only comeout and eat at night. Hid mostly during the day.

    \Cheers

Krill is what I used until it ate an $80 fish. Quick way out of my tank, LFS didn't want it back though.

Kent sells a clear skewer that work will to. Mine would follow it all around the tank. Pretty cool to see them swim. You may at first have to "entice" him to eat by nearly beating him with it. Don't think they have reall good eyesight.
