What did you do to your aquarium today?

today nothing excdept for feeding later this evening. But yesterday i did a water change on the 46, cleaned the glass, cleaned the skimmer and filter sock, got some GHA algae off the rocks. For the 20 i cleaned the algae off the glass, got poop out of the tank, and did a water change. For my toads i cleaned the water. Busy day yesterday

Forgot to add i got a Turkey Baster and some Instant Krazy Glue All Purpose Gel to glue down frags, hopefullly i'm going to get some soon, i really want some!

 

Turned on the actinics

 

turkey basted my rocks, changed filter media, water testing tonight

 

target fed the Mandarins (I do this everyday) performed water tests . All seems good today. Secured some new frags to the rock so they do not fall..... AGAIN. In the AM I will do a 10% water change and clean mechanical fiters. I will also take out 20 more bio balls out so that I can get rid of them. Doing about 20 a month till gone. Then it is make a Gin and Tonic and enjoy. ;D

Reset the suction on my overflow before it water overflowed from the tank itself. Found out my coral beauty is dying , it was gettin beat up for a while now and since last night it was hanging around the top and center of my tank so I moved it to the fuge and now its in a net after it started swimming upside down.

 

Thanks. I got it for $25 it has 15 heads/mouths on it. Its not the biggest but pretty nice I think. I found a guy today that sells corals. He has duncans for $7 a head he told me that if I buy a coral with more than 5 heads he will knock off the price of 2 heads. Is that a good deal for duncans? I dont know alot about them.

 

I checked on my skimmer, fed the fish, minor rescaping, and I am in the process of getting some frags together for a fellow 3reefer to come by and possibly purchase. Then maybe tommorrow pick up a few new frags.

 

well... today.. besides by birthday, im about to take a trip to the lfs and buy 8 chromis for my tank.
